Abstract

Bras à articulations multiples. Il est constitué de plusieurs tronçons rigides tubulaires 1 dont une extrémité comporte un logement ou partie en creux 2, tandis que l'autre est pourvue d'une tête ou rotule 3 en forme de calotte sphérique. Leurs surfaces respectives intérieure et extérieure s'adaptent exactement et sont serrées l'une contre l'autre grâce à un élément de tension ou câble 16 qui les traverse en leur centre pour leur conférer une certaine adhérence par friction. Ce câble qui est fixé à une extrémité du bras par l'intermédiaire d'un ressort de traction 17, traverse tous les tronçons 1 et se termine par un tendeur 18. Suspension d'objets dans l'espace.
