Abstract
Le dispositif transforme l'énergie lumineuse en énergie électrique. La lumière est captée par une couche transparente dont l'indice de réfraction est plus grand que celui du milieu environnant et qui contient des centres fluorescents (concentrateurs), puis est amenée à une cellule solaire. Plus d'une combinaison concentrateur-cellule solaire sont empilées en intercalant un milieu d'un indice de réfraction plus petit que celui des concentrateurs. Chaque concentrateur transforme une partie du spectre incident en lumière fluorescente et la cède à une cellule solaire.
