Abstract

L'invention concerne les dispositifs d'affichage d'informations alphanumériques. Un dispositif d'affichage à décharge dans un gaz comprend un seul plan de conducteurs parallèles et distants 35, 39, 41a, etc. pour ioniser le gaz contenu dans des canaux perpendiculaires aux conducteurs. Chaque cellule du dispositif d'affichage est définie par la région d'un canal qui se trouve entre deux conducteurs parallèles. La géométrie des conducteurs utilisés permet l'utilisation d'une seule tension pour l'amorçage et l'entretien de l'ionisation des différentes cellules. Application aux écrans d'affichage utilisés en informatique.
