Abstract

Cette invention concerne les thermoplongeurs comportant des résistances chauffantes alimentées à partir d'une source de courant. Ce thermoplongeur comprend une enveloppe conductrice de la chaleur, par exemple métallique, à l'intérieur de laquelle les résistances chauffantes sont logées, en combinaison avec un disposititif limiteur de température tel qu'un dispositif fusible de type irréversibe, placé de préférence entre les résistances chauffantes, l'ensemble étant noyé avantageusement dans une masse pulvérulent conductrice de la chaleur, par exemple en graphite ou en poudre métallique. Ce thermoplongeur est utilisable notamment dans toutes les applications de chauffage de fluides ou matières présentant des dangers d'auto-inflammation et de déflagration.
