Abstract

The connector is used with a printed circuit board, for securing the connector leads etc. of circuit board components. Itcomprises at least one clamp element (14) positioned within an insulating block (12), fixed to the circuit board, with one end (16) of the clamp element (14) projecting through an opening in the insulating block (12), for connection to the printed circuit. The clamp element (14) has a flat section (22) bent round into a hook, with a hole (28, 32) through the facing sides of the hook for receiving the conductor, which is held in position by a spring tongue (24), secured to the end of the hook.
