Abstract
The DC-DC converter, for producing several stabilised DC voltages from a single DC source, has a pulsed input transistor supply the primaries of two transformers via a half wave rectifier. Each primary is connected in series with a pulsed transistor switch. Each transformer has two (or more) secondary windings. Each secondary winding is connected to a rectifying diode (12). The diode of one secondary of one transformer and the diode of the corresponding secondary of the other transformer are coupled in parallel to a shared smoothing capacitor (16). The two (or more) smoothing capacitors are connected across the outputs (18, 19).
