Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouveau type de four de traitement thermique de fils en mouvement. Selon l'invention, le four est du type comportant une surface chauffante 1 contre laquelle le fil 8 est en contact lors de son déplacement, des moyens de guidage 6, 7 du fil placés en amont et en aval du four et susceptibles d'être déplacés de manière à rapprocher ou éloigner le fil de la surface chauffante, et il se caractérise par le fait que d'une part, la surface chauffante 1 est disposée à l'intérieur d'une enceinte isolante 3, fermée, comportant des orifices pour le passage du fil et que, d'autre part, il comporte un ensemble de lancement communiquant avec la surface chauffante, partiellement ou non isolé, ledit ensemble étant constitué par un conduit longitudinal continu 4, s'étendant sur toute la longueur du four, rectiligne, éloigné de la surface chauffante 1 et muni d'une fente de guidage 5 longitudinale s'étendant depuis la périphérie du conduit 4 jusqu'à proximité de la plaque chauffante 1. Ce type de four convient particulièrement au traitement thermique des fils sur les metiers d'étirage-texturation par fausse-torsion selon le procédé simultané.
