Abstract
L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de particules sphéroïdales en silice-alumine, suivant lequel on prépare une suspension d'un sulfate d'aluminium basique présentant un rapport molaire SO3 /Al2 O 3 de 0,6 à 0,4 et de dimensions particulaires de 1 à 10 microns dans un sol de silice ayant un pH de 1 à 3; on disperse la suspension, sous forme de gouttelettes, dans un milieu de suspension chaud, non miscible avec l'eau, dans lequel on retient les gouttelettes jusqu'à leur prise en particules fermes d'hydrogel qu'on fait vieillir dans une solution alcaline aqueuse, puis lave, sèche et calcine. Ces particules sont utilisables notamment comme catalyseur d'hydrotraitement du pétrole.
