Abstract

A regulator of the distribution of seeds in a pneumatic seeder comprises flexible filaments (2) arranged in a flat sheet with their adjacent ends defining a curved line. The filaments are glued to a support plate (1) and held between the plate and a cover plate. The pneumatic seeder comprises a circular row of perforations (10) in which seeds are retained by suction as the distribution plate (13) rotates through a seeder hopper. The filaments are in contact with the distribution plate (13), and the inner ends of the filaments sweep the perforations to ensure that only one seed is held in each.
