Abstract

The unit enables a kitchen cloth or towel to be stored for drying. It comprises a length of square section tubing (1), provided with internal ribs and fins to assist formation of air currents. A flat belt (5) runs over a pulley (3, 4) inside the upper portion (2). One end of this belt is counter-weighted (6), the other end has a hook (E) for holding the cloth. This is pulled into the tube for drying. If required, the belt can be latched under the lower end of the tube, the cloth remaining outside the unit; a second hook (D) is provided on the belt for this purpose.
