Abstract

The cloth is attached to a cord wound on a spoot (3) fitted on a cage, the spool being spring loaded and the cord under tension as it is extended. The cage slides inside an outer casing fixed into the top of the cover. Pulling the cord exerts a downwards pressure on the cage which moves in the casing and a toothed disc rotates. Rreleasing the cord causes a pawl to lock on the disc, the cord remaining extended. At the same time,a cam rotates and, when the cord is pulled again, the pawl is released and the cord rewound.
