Abstract

Système d'établissement de billets dans un réseau de transport comprenant un ordinateur hôte connecté à plusieurs sous-sytèmes répartis sur le réseau. L'ordinateur hôte 1 comporte une mémoire pour emmagasiner un fichier général et chacun des sous-systèmes 4 auxquels sont connectés des terminaux 13 comprend une mémoire locale pour emmagasiner une partie du fichier correspondant aux éléments d'information les plus fréquemment recherchés, de telle sorte que ces éléments puissent être obtenus par les terminaux sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'avoir accès à l'ordinateur. Un tel système réduit les coûts et les temps d'accès des informations qui étaient dûs à l'établissement de la connexion avec l'ordinateur.
