Abstract

The adjusting mechanism is used for positioning a door relative to a floor mounted hinge. The hinge arm support plate is fitted on the lower edge of the door. This arm has an adjusting screw for adjusting the position of the arm in longitudinal direction. The adjustment of the door is carried out within a door housing or frame. Two additional adjusting screws (3, 3) are arranged parallel to each other in longitudinal direction of the arm (1). These screws adjust the position of the arm in transverse direction. On the end of arm is formed a shoulder (19) for ensuring smooth contacts between the two additional adjusting screws. The additional screws and longitudinal adjustment screw (4) are situated closely together.
