Abstract

Appts. for providing an indication of the load applied to a vehicle comprises at least one axle and a body mounted on the axle through a spring arrangement so that upon being loaded the body undergoes displacement relative to the axle. The appts. includes an inductor and means to vary the inductance proportionally to the displacement.
