Abstract

The dosimeter is for small amounts of fluids, e.g. reagents, additives etc. consists of a compressible and expandable bellows (1) operated by an associated solenoid (2). The bellows have a fluid inlet line (10) and outlet line (8, 9), each line fitted with non-return or solenoid valve (3, 4). The bellows stroke are controlled by adjusting the position of the solenoid with respect to the bellows. The bellows and solenoid unit are fitted with an electrical circuit (6) so that the unit can be operated on a one or multi stroke principle for distribution systems.
