Abstract

The thermal weed killer has a wheeled chassis on which is a fuel reservoir. A burner is carried on the front of an arm of the chassis, the burner, including a number of jets positioned in the upper part of a hook which is open at the bottom. The jets are distributed to provide a transverse screen of flame across the inside of the hook. The hood is pref. formed of a sheet of material which is folded and welded along its seam, a gas inlet pipe passing through the top of the hood.
