Elément pour un ensemble terminateur et d'essai pour câbles, ainsi qu'un ensemble de ce genre constitué par ces éléments. L'élément selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une bande rigide en matière plastique, moulée; un groupe d'organes conducteurs 3 d'un premier type et un groupe d'organes 4 conducteurs d'un second type. Les organes conducteurs sont réalisés en un métal élastique, tel qu'un alliage nickel-argent. Ces élements et les ensembles correspondants peuvent être utilisés, par exemple, dans un central téléphonique automatique.
