Abstract

The lock catch which engages the bolt of the lock is particularly suitable for use with the doors of mobile or removable partitioning. The catch is made from an elastomeric material and consists of a central body with an inclined face and a tongue (2), this portion apart from the tongue being faced with a thin sheet of metal (7, 8) wit triangular side flanks (9) which abut against the top and bottom rectangular flanges (3) of the catch. These flanges have projections (5) which help to secure the catch in an appropriate loding in the door frame. When the door is closed the bolt of the lock engages behind the tongue and compresses it slightly ensuring secure fit and noiseless closing of the door.
