Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour étancher l'intervalle séparant une surface et le bord d'une paroi aménagée en regard de cette surface et retenant avec la surface un volume d'un premier fluide, tel un liquide par exemple de l'eau, des dispositifs de mise en oeuvre du procédé et des applications. Suivant l'invention, on dispose et on entretient le long d'au moins une partie de l'intervalle séparant une surface et le bord d'une paroi aménagée en regard de cette surface et retenant avec la surface un volume d'un premier fluide, tel un liquide, par exemple de l'eau, un coussin d'un second fluide, tel un gaz, par exemple, de l'air à une pression au droit de l'intervalle, supérieure à celle du volume du premier fluide. L'invention trouve une application particulièrement intéressante dans le déplacement de charge sur coussin liquide et au nettoiement des surfaces, ou à leur dégivrage.
