Abstract

The lottery drawing system consists of a drum (a) carrying characters mounted on a support (5). The drum (1) is free to rotate on the support (5). A reference line system (10) is fixed on the support (5) the reference line (10) passing over a portion of the drum (1). The drum (1) is made up of a series of discs (13-17). A series of characters signs or symbols are regularly spaced over the surface of each disc. The reference line (10) permits one to read an series of characters when the drum (1) has stopped rotating. Each of the discs can be removed, they have a series of notches (18) in them which enables them to be interlocked with each other. The positions of the inscriptions on each disc may be altered relative to those on the adjacent discs. The number of notches (18) on each disc is equal or proportional to the lowest common multiple of the total number of signs of the different series of signs.
