Abstract
L'invention concerne la métallurgie. La fonte faisant l'objet de l'invention est du type contenant du carbone, du silicium, du manganèse, de l'aluminium, du chrome, du fer et, en tant qu'impuretés, du soufre et du phosphore, et est caractérisée en ce que, outre les proportions de composants (% en poids): carbone 2,8 à 4,0, silicium 1,5 à 3,0, manganèse 0,1 à 06, aluminium 1,0 à 3,0, chrome 0,5 à 2,5; elle contient (% en poids): cuivre 0,2 à 2,0, magnésium 0,005 à 0,04, calcium 0,01 à 0,04; ses teneurs en impuretés étant limitées comme suit (% en poids): soufre jusqu'à 0,08, phosphore jusqu'à 0,10, le reste étant du fer. La fonte en question peut être utilisée dans la production de pièces telles que des moules de verre fonctionnant à des températures élevées.
