Abstract

The handlebar connecting piece fits into the steering column by means of a tube (1) which is tightened inside the column. The connector has a horizontal portion which carriers a disc (2). The disc may be locked by means of horizontal locking bars (24) and (25). The disc carries two further discs, (3) and (4), locked onto the spindle (2) by means of a keep plate (6) and locknuts (7). The two inner discs have stubs (31) and (41) on the sides. The stubs each carry a handlebar (5) which is bolted into position. The angle of the handlebar may be locked into position by the spring loaded pin (12).
