Abstract

Underwater well head comprises a connector, a Christmas tree blow-out head surrounded by a capsule, and a main valve placed on the Christmas tree. The valve forms part of an element which forms the base of the Christmas tree and which penetrates the bottom of the capsule and supports it. The valve forms part of this element within the capsule. The element is pref. in one piece. The capsule is designed to be filled with water once it is placed in position on the sea bed, with access to the capsule by means of a transit capsule.
