Abstract

The door hinge consists of two U-section arms (2, 3) which are articulated around a common axis (X-X) and two connecting rods (12) which are articulated together around a common axis (T-T) and also at their extremeties, one rod being connected to each arm (Y-Y) (Z-Z). The connecting rods can be fixed at predetermined opening positions but they are dimensioned so that the maximum opening angle (delta) is clearly less than 180 deg., and between the positions of fully open and fully closed arms turn through 120 deg. with respect to each other. One of the connecting rods is provided with a stop (21) which hits against the other rod to limit the angle of opening.
