Abstract

Gas cylinder has two parts separated by an evaporation chamber. The liquefied gas is contained in one part and is vapourised in the evaporation chamber. A gas pocket is maintained in the top of the cylinder. This pocket exerts a pressure on the liquefied gas which is thus forced into the evaporation chamber, in the first case by means of the pipe and in the second case through the holes. The cylinder may be used for butane, propane etc. The arrangement of the cylinder provides a larger area in contact with the exterior atmos. which accelerates the heat exchange between the contents of the cylinder and the outside. This results in better evaporation without the risk of separation of the products mixed in the liquefied gas.
