Abstract

The scaffolding is erected between the floor and ceiling of a storey of a building under construction and consists of a platform (16) with guard rail (18) on three sides to form a cradle (20). The cradle is mounted in cantilever position on a support consisting of two parallel feet (24) resting on the floor (12). The height of the platform can be adjusted by two parallel slide pieces (26) wedged against the ceiling (14). Each upright (20) incorporates sockets e.g. holes (42) regularly spaced out over the length. Pins are inserted in the holes to lock the position of the cradle.
