Abstract

The machine washes bottles (4) these being circulated through a hot wash bath (2) and under a rinse (29) by a chain conveyor (5). After passing through the bath, the bottles are raised out of it on an S-shaped section (7, 8, 9) formed of longitudinal bars. The bottles then partly descent into the bath over a plate (10) and drop onto three transversal bars (13, 14, 15). The shocks remove the wet labels, assisted by a spray (18) and the bottles continue through the machine. The labels are directed onto a collector drum (21) by a combination of sprays (19) and suction currents (24). The collected labels are scraped off (24, 25) into a container (27).
