Abstract

Device comprises a receiving hopper for the mass of dough; its lower end communicates with the dividng head through an opening in the table which is fitted with a moveable knife. The tilting dividing head, consisting of a single cylinder, can pivot from the vertical or charging position to the horizontal or discharging position, the piece of dough being received on the conveyor belt. The piston in the cylinder has a receiving surface in the form of a concave, spherical cup and gives a rounded shape to the ejected piece of dough. The mechanical operations, including the cut-off of the charge by the knife, are controlled by a cam assembly and a single motor. The machine is designed to occupy the min. amt. of space; the height is esp. reduced by the use of the tilting dividing head within the operating mechanism placed to its side.
