Abstract

The prefabricated metal frame is for houses and other builders, and comprises two parallel lengthwise members (1), which are divided into 2n spans by 2n-1 cross-members (2) at right angles to them. These have, at one or both ends, inclined support legs (3), arranged symmetrically in two planes passing through the lengthwise members and at right angles to the cross-members. The frame shape is such that it can be nested between two identical parallel ones, the overall height of the set being little more than its own.
