Abstract

The steel reinforcement bar is bent around pegs on a parallogram linkage frame. Bodily rotation varies the links' angular lie. Two opposite joined links originate the variation, which is transmitted through epicyclic motion about the frame's centre. The other links' pair carries the pegs. Four pivotted links (2), (3), (4), (5), turn around a sun gear (19) on a crossbar (15). The reinforcement stock (25) forms on pegs (10), (11), (12), (13). When the crank pin and planet centre pin (24) are equidistant from the sun's centre (16) the frame and the reinforcement winding are rectangular.
