Abstract

The lamp has a spring grip for a cover, withdrawable in the vertical direction and then hinging clear. Spring stirrups hinge on the cover, engaging with the housing in the inserted position of the cover, and releasing on removal, being detachable at their outer ends from the housing in the end position. The spring stirrups (5) bear against the cover (4), being inclined upwards and pivoting under spring action against the housing. The upper ends (52) engage with lugs or recesses on the inside wall (11) of the housing (1), and when the cover is removed they are held against hooked portions (64) on the housing.
