Abstract

The private branch telephone exchange system has both the parallel voice lines for internal traffic and the key switches associated with them, at the extensions numbered consecutively. Plug connections determine the type of one of each voice line. The plug connections are made at the multiples mounted on the panels near the extensions involved. When an incoming internal call occurs during a conversation with the exchange, a key switch assigned to the extension can switch in the incoming internal line.
