Abstract
In addition to the one branch (1) provided with the sensing resistor (3), the bridge has a series circuit of two potentiometers (20, 22) in the other bridge branch (18). The bridge supply voltage can be varied via a controller (27) in dependence on the voltage difference between the taps of these potentiometers. This makes independent setting of the starting and end values of the electrical measuring range possible. A further potentiometer (22') is connected in parallel with one potentiometer (22). One or the other of these parallel-connected potentiometers can be connected to the controller (27) by means of a change-over switch (30). This makes it possible to adjust the starting points of the characteristic of the measuring range step by step in accordance with a program. The bridge can be used, in particular, in controlling the charging-up of off-peak power storage heating.
