Abstract

Medicament for oral admin. for regulating blood circulation contains the active agent (I) in slow release form so that its release is delayed in the digestive system. Pref. the form is microcapsules with a membranous wall which may also contain a hypnotic or saporific which is liberated without delay in the digestive system. Used for treating insomnia in the first and second parts of the night caused by blood pressure drop during the vagotonic period of sleep leading to cardiac or cerebral insufficiency. The hypnotic is e.g. Hexobarbital and (I) is e.g. Etilefrine.
