Abstract

Dummy comprises simple efficient means for gripping the facing edges of the garment without risking any displacement of the treated garment, pref. two rows of spikes, with two gripper bars for gripping the edges of the garment, to allow penetration of the spikes in the edges. The device may also include a lever arm for lateral displacement of the gripper bars over the spikes. The spikes pierce the fabric due to the pressure of the gripper bars, which are scarcely 1 cm wide and are provided with foam rubber, so that the spikes do not leavy any marks on the fabric, and the garment cannot be displaced at the moment of transmission of air by the fan of the dummy.
