Abstract

The spring bars hold cleaning pads, either previously or eventually impregnated with water, on the underside of a heated plate, the pads being used for cleaning windows or tiled surfaces. The spring bars grip suitably contoured plate sides, or are maintained in position by magnets embedded in the plate, and have spikes (8) gripping the pad (3). The bars are formed from metal or plastics and are easily removed from the plate to allow replacement of the cleaning pad. The bars stretch the pads when placed on the plate.
