Abstract

Rigid soft metal pipes connect the top outlets of a heating oil tanks' assembly, obviating flexible connection air pockets. Axially adjustable seals accommodate to incidental change of a tank's position when uncoupled and then econnected. A union shoulder controls constant volume seal setting, around a slight self-developed pipe depression. T joint fittings (1,2) connect adjacent tanks. The plain socket lengths (7) accept the tanks' servicing movements range (L). The union nuts (8) inside faces (10) and the fittings' external limit shoulders (9) are distanced to grip and deform a plastic sealing ring (11) into the soft yielding (14a) pipes (3,4) with full screwing home.
