Abstract
The hollow charge is for use in munitions and perforating machines, the main (3) and priming (5) charges forming an explosive assembly with two or more sections of moulded composite material. These sections themselves comprise particles of explosive spread through a plastics binder. All sections of the assembly are moulded successively, one onto the other. The same binder can be used for all sections, the nature and particle size of the explosives differing. The proportions of explosive to binder can vary between the sections. There can be a priming screen moulded between the main and priming charges.
