Abstract

Mirror, esp. a rear view mirror for vehicles consists of a plastics core with good mechanical properties and a coating of substance which facilitates the deposition of a reflecting metallic coating thereon. Pref. the core consists of polycarbonate reinforced with 30% of glass fibre. The coating is pref. ABS. The mirror does not produce dangerous fragments in case of accident.
