Abstract

Lamp reflector comprises a curved substrate (2) to the inner surface of which a reflection film (1) is bonded before or during shaping of the substrate pref. by vacuum-forming. The film consists of a base layer (a) of thermoplastic material, a metallised layer (b), a transparent resin layer (c), a metallisedlayer (d), a transparent resin layer (e), a metallised layer (f) and an outer transparent protective layer (g), of which the metallised layers are pref. applied by vacuum vaporisation, and consist all three of Al, or the first two of Al and the third one of Cr. The reflective surface is thereby fully protected against all unfavourable contingencies.
