Abstract
The wall of the tubing is radially uniformly elastic and features at least 1 fleece layer and a reinforcement. The fleece forming the tube wall comprises at least partly a material that will be resorbed by a patient's body after at least 6 months. Pref. a polycondensate of glycolic or lactic acid(s) is used or an alkylene polyoxalate and/or alkylene polysuccinate, or a polyester. Used as a prosthetic blood vessel oesophagus, urether urethra or gall bladder duct. Reliable resistance to collapse under external pressure or in the event of such collapse, rapid recovery to original cross-section is obtd.
