New supported peptides of formulae H2N-Leu-Glu(Bz)-Phe-CH2- encircled R (I); H2N-Phe-Pro-Leu-Glu(Bz)-Phe-CH2- encircled R (II); H2N-Asp(Bz)-Ala-Gly-Glu(Bz)-Asp(Bz)-Gln-Ser(Bz)-Ala-Glu(Bz)-Ala-P- he-Pro-Leu-Glu(Bz)-Phe-CH2- encircled R (III); H2N-Gly-Lys(V)-Arg(T)-Arg(T)-Pro-Val-Lys(V)-Val-Tyr-Pro-Asp(Bz)-A- la-Gly-Glu(Bz)-Asp(Bz)-Gln-Ser(Bz)-Ala-Glu(Bz)-Ala-Phe-Pro-Leu-Gl- u(Bz)-Phe-CH2- encircled R (IV) and H2N-Arg(T)-Trp-Gly-Lys(V)-Pro-Val-Gly-Lys (V)-Lys(V)-Arg(T)-Arg(T)-Pro-Val-Lys(V)-Val-Tyr(Y)-Pro-Asn-Gly-Al- a-Glu(Bz)-Asp(Bz)-Glu(Bz)-Ser(Bz)-Ala-Glu(Bz)-Ala-Phe-Pro-Leu-Glu- (Bz)-Phe-CH2- encircled R (V) are new. Bz = benzyl, p-methoxy-, p-chloro- or p-nitrobenzyl, or benzhydryl; Y = BZ or H; V = benzyloxycarbonyl, 2-chloro-, 2-bromo- or 2,4-dichloro-benzyloxycarbonyl, or trifluoroacetyl; T = tosyl or NO2; encircled R is a divinylbenzene-crosslinked polystyrene resin.
