Abstract

The tubular network solar energy receiver has parabolar shaped sections which allow two independent liquid circuits to be heated. The system of pipework comprises parallel rectangular shaped elements which are linked to each other and situated on the same focal axis of one of the honeycombed sections. A watertight compartment is formed by the reflecting surface and a transparent plate. The fluid circulates in the compartment which includes a caisson formed by a second plate which divides the compartment into two. The pipework is coloured black to absorb maximum solar energy and has fluid regulators to vary the rate of flow.
