Abstract

The electronic timing circuit is for ignition systems for IC engines in vehicles, consists of a bridge circuit with one arm containing a temp-sensitive resistor (10) detecting the temperature of the internal combustion engine chamber. A transistor switch (T1) is located in the bridge diagonal and connected to the indicator lamp (L) via two further transistor switches (T2-T3). The lamp indicates when the engine is ready to start. The first switch has a positive feedback resistor (18) connected into another arm of the bridge. A temperature compensating resistor (12,14) is connected into the fourth arm of the bridge.
