Abstract

The rotary hoe comprises a hub plate (2) on a shaft (1) driven by a tractor power take-off. Each hoe blade (3, 4) has its bottom edge formed by two angles each provided with a notched cutout (3a, 3b). These are at right angles to each other and spaced apart to fit over fixing bolts (5a, 5b). The bolts pass through the hub plate and screw into threaded holes in a clamp plate (6) on the blade side. The blade fits between clamp plate and hub, one cutout positioned over one bolt and the blade rotated to engage the other cutout. The blade can be easily removed for replacement.
