Abstract

Pneumatic installation lines up a sheet in relation to vertical axes. The installation includes a sleeve (10) the interior of which carries the sheet (30). At least one point on one of the inner small walls of the sleeve is lined up parallel to one of the axes. A stop (19) at one end of the sleeve has at least one point lined up parallel to the other axis. A fluid flow installation has a speed component vertical to each of the axes inside the sleeve. The flow moves the sheet to be processed to each of the points. A fluid braking device brings at least a part of the sheet into friction contact with the sleeve when the sheet is moved into the lined up position, thus reducing the shock forces during the lining up process.
