Abstract

The shop refrigerated food section is built up from a number of standard units standing side by side and connected by quick release hooks so that parts can be moved round or replaced easily and quickly. Each basic unit consists of a cupboard (6), the front wall of which has an opening (8) which can be filled by a door (9) for a refrigerator or a number of drawers (10) for a cool chest. The top of the unit is covered by a shelf plate (7), which when the units are connected side by side, forms a level counter surface. The cover plate (7) can take any form and contain recesses for wach basins, containers for ices (18), depressions for stacking bottles (19). The covers can also be provided with glass display cases for the display of various types of foodstuffs.
