Abstract

The mounting assembly, for fixing the ends of a rotating machine's stator winding bars, avoids using rotary-type joints susceptible to wear and has an additional ring (106) around the extreme ends of the winding bars. The ends of these internal bars (84) are tied to this ring, which is not tied to the external support assembly and which is farther from the stator's magnetic circuit than the rings (72-74) forming part of the external support assembly. The bar ends are held to the additional ring by tie rods (112) passing radially between the ends of the bars.
