Abstract
Convertor providing an analogue output as a function of digital inputs. The circuit provides a high conversion accuracy without the need for large numbers of potentiometer resistors and associated switching normally used to provide a reference voltage. A counting circuit is fed from a clock pulses an output is generated changing the state of a multivibrator and providing a numeric value, X, display. The change of state allows the reference voltage to fed in to the counter until this reaches the reference value X. The cycle is continuously repeated until both input values are identical.
