Abstract

The machine for the production of bag packs is for reshaping them into a square shape and includes units for the production, transverse closure and filling of an endless hose of package material and to subdivide it into bag packs. Below this installation is a reshaping device incorporating U-shaped beakers open towards the top and rotating in stages. At least one movable beaker wall section operates during the forming process. Bending and pressure tools are located along the rotating track. The beakers consist of two walls capable of being swivelled relative to each other and a height adjustable base which have a common bearing on a wheel turnable in stages around a vertical axis.
